WHAT A SEASON

As 2025 comes to a close it time to reflect and bask in the glories. Where do I start, these youngsters went way beyond my expectations and they never fail to amaze me. They made history this year by becoming the first Club in Perth and Kinross to have both their teams qualify for the Junior Bell Salver final at Gleneagles. Combine that with then finishing third in the Scottish Junior Team Championship at North Berwick and Conan Reid becoming our Eighth PGA Assistant Professional. You would think the season couldn’t get better but Archie Pattullo and Angus Palmer took it to another level by securing two of the three Gleneagles Scholarships in the Scratch category.  

Yesterday we held the Captain v Vice Captain Texas Scramble and Captain Stuart Duncan led his team out to victory helped by him winning both nearest the pin prizes. This was followed by the prize giving and a fantastic buffet provided by the Centre. Great that the majority of the winners were there to collect their Trophies, vouchers, certificates etc.  

FIRST NEW MEMBER FOR 2026

4 year old Arthur Runciman becomes our first new member for 2026 and hopefully he can come along to the Texas Scramble on the 22nd of November and meet everyone then. 

GLENEAGLES SCHOLARSHIPS

Fantastic news, Archie and Angus both achieve their spaces, hopefully they take full advantage of this amazing opportunity. 

* Gleneagles Foundation Junior Order of Merit Update

The curtain has come down on a long and successful season for our Juniors, with last weekend’s Gleneagles Junior Open bringing our season-long Scratch and Handicap Order of Merits to an exciting conclusion.

Spanning 17 events, participation levels this year have been exceptional which was well above recent seasons, providing a fantastic foundation to build upon as we move into 2026!

Without further ado, congratulations to:
