BEST WISHES

Tomorrow sees Michael and Brad tee it up in the Scottish Boys match play Championship at Monifieth. Both boys have been practicing hard during the winter and that should help them in their 1st round matches.

NETT 68 TAKES THE HONOURS IN RUSSELL BAILEY

Callum and Keith Ewan won the Shield today with a tremendous score of 68, 2nd was Alex Simpson and myself with 70.5 and 3rd was new member Conor Hughes and Frank Moran. with 71. Conor will make a welcome addition to the section and has already signed up for next weeks competition. Ben Anderson also made his competitive debut and it was great to see so many of our Juniors out enjoying themselves.

NO CHALLENGERS TONIGHT ???

Disappointed - nobody took up the challenge. Course was good, pitch mark repairer was required on the greens, although they could now do with a trim and a rabbit poo decluter.

PROBABLY THE FINAL LEITFIE CHALLENGE TOOK PLACE TONIGHT - WEATHER NOT PERMITTING

Hopefully with the weather improving we will soon be back on the full course - main greens and tees.

Tonight saw Brad, Tod and myself taking part in the latest instalment of the Leitfie Challenge. We decided to play the points game and in a close run contest Brad scored 17, Tod 18 and yours truly 19.

If the weather doesn't improve who wants to take the Leitfie Challenge next ?

Still looking for entries for the Russell Bailey on Sunday - tee times re-arranged for 3pm.
