At Gleneagles today Strathmore Juniors despite losing 4 v 1 should be proud of themselves for achieving so much this season. Craigiehill were worthy winners and I know our players will have learned a lot from the experience. Cory Miller was our only winner and did it in style by hitting a huge drive down 18 and hitting a superb 2nd to 6ft. Our 4 other players were disappointed in their performances and have all played better in earlier rounds. The team were delighted with the support they received especially from Junior Captain Michael Brodie and fellow team mates Brad Bannerman and Kirsty Brodie and it shows the camaraderie they have.
I know next year we will be back again and hopefully can go one step further.
