The boys must play off the White Tees and the Girls off the Red Tees, also whether its boys or girls that play they must play in strict handicap order (lowest handicapper first and so on)

HOW TO OBTAIN A JUNIOR CLUB HANDICAP

There seems to be some misunderstanding as to how you can get yourself a junior club handicap on the 'wee course'. So to set the record straight I need 3 cards over only NINE holes and two of the cards can be signed by your friends or family but one must be signed by a member of the Junior Committee. Telephone contact numbers are at the right hand side of this page or contact the office and they will provide numbers for the following people who can help:

Stephen Schofield (Junior Convener)
Iain Butchart (Elite Squad Convener)
Fergus Martin (Intermediate Convener)
Jackie Moran (Beginners Convener)
Peter Tinker (President)
Jane Taylor (Ladies Captain)
Lewis Duncan (Gents Captain)
Dawn Butchart (Junior Committee)
Frank Moran (Junior Committee)

So lots of people who are here to help!!

If you have any further questions regarding handicap please contact me, Dawn on 01828 633000/633395 and I will be more than happy to help.

BUT PLEASE REMEMBER ONLY 3 CARDS OVER 9 HOLES OF LEITFIE ARE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A JUNIOR CLUB HANDICAP.

SO WHAT'S STOPPING YOU!!!!

WEE WONDERS COME TO
STRATHMORE

The HSBC Wee Wonders Championships is a junior golf tournament that gives boys and girls aged 5 to 12 a way to progress from coaching competitions into competitive golf. Playing on Par 3 Golf courses, in ‘flag format’, you will get the chance to see how you score against others juniors your age and this year we are very lucky as our regional qualifier will be held on our very own 'Wee Course'.

You will have 36 shots to get as far around the course as possible. Where the ball stops, you plant your flag. If you get further than others your age, you've won!

If you win your age category in the regional final, we will invite them to play in the grand final at St. Andrews.

Due to the fantastic golf displayed by the 2007 grand finalists, this year's grand final will be played on two courses at St Andrews on 23 and 24 August 2008.

The following age groups will compete on the 9-hole Balgove Course:Boys 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 Girls 8 and under, 9-10

To find our more or to enter on line, please go to the Wee Wonders Web Site. I have put a link to the website below so just click.
