SCRATCH LEAGUE CHAMPIONS MAKE THEIR DEBUT 2013

Current Scratch League Champions Strathmore play their first match in their quest to retain the trophy against Muckhart at Strathmore on Sunday. The team is -

QUARTER FINAL DRAW FOR BELL TROPHY

Strathmore came out the hat with a home draw against would you believe it KINROSS. We have already played them home and away in the 1st round this year and won 3&2 at home so can look forward with confidence to meeting them again and progressing to the semi finals. We have to give 3 dates to play the tie as per the rules and will be contacting players re availability.

LOUISE BLOOR BECOMES OUR LATEST WINNER

Congratulations to Louise who played at Pitlochry on Sunday in the Perth and Kinross Ladies County Golf Association Junior Championships and finished 1st in the 7 hole competition, adding to Strathmore Juniors list of successes.

MICHAEL MAKES A TOP TEN FINISH

Well done Michael Brodie finishing tenth in the 54 hole SGU event. In the 3rd round he was level par through 9 and although he was disappointed with the back 9 he birdied the last to secure his first top ten finish. Below is his cards and the final result.

Well done past Juniors Rory Tinker and Matthew Bell who today just missed out on winning the Stroyan Trophy today beaten by a better inward half.

Stroyan Trophy Report 2013

The Stroyan Trophy was held at Bishopshire Golf Club on Sunday May 26th.
The weather was sunny, the course in first class condition and the hospitality excellent.

The County is very grateful to Bishopshire for the courtesy of their course. It was a pleasure to be at Kinneswood again.
