CARRIBEAN NIGHT

Strathmore held a Carribean Night on Saturday and lots of juniors came along and had some great fun. We had games and music and some lovely food. As you can see from the photos below it was a fun night!!

CONGRATULATIONS EMILY AND MEGAN

Sisters Emily and Megan Aird had been invited to participate in Scottish Winter Coaching by the SLGA. This is a fantastic achievement and one which they should both be very proud!

Both girls will receive coaching from the Scottish Coach Kevin Craggs at Stirling University. Megan and Emily have also enjoyed Elite County Coaching this year at Gleneagles and although the County Squads are yet to be announced I am confident they will be selected again.

Well done to you both!

WELL DONE STRATHMORE GIRLS

The UBC Girls Championship was played over the Loch Ness course at Castle Heather Inverness yesterday and sisters Emily and Megan Aird flew the flag for Strathmore. The sisters both returned scratch scores of 85 both also had exactly the same halves -45 -40.

Emily won the tie breaker by virtue of better last six to take 3rd prize in the scratch section. As only one prize can be won by each player and as scratch takes precedence, Megan did not leave empty handed. She picked up the best nett prize. Well done to both girls.
