JUNIOR OPEN

Calling all juniors who hold a Congu Handicap (big course only) please get your entry completed for Strathmore Junior Open. Let all your friends know. Handicap limit is 28 for boys and 36 for girls however if your handicap is higher and is a valid Junior Congu Handicap you can still enter but must play off the limit set. If your not sure contact Iain.

P&K Ladies County Championship at Crieff

Hannah Robb lost out to Nicola Robertson (Dunblane) - who went on to win the Championship. Well done Hannah for qualifing to the last 16 and no doubt the experience will give you encouragement for the rest of the season.

JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2ND QUALIFIER

10 players took part with Michael Brodie returning a superb gross 76 and reducing his handicap to 8. This also helped Michael replace Brad Bannerman as top seed from the 1st Qualifier by 1 shot. With 2 Qualifing rounds left its all to play for with the top 4 gross players qualifing for the scratch matchplay and the next 4 making the handicap matchplay knockout stages.

HANNAH ROBB QUALIFIES FOR P&K COUNTY LADIES MATCHPLAY AT CRIEFF

Well done Hannah who with a round of 86 has qualified as 13th seed for the last 16 knock out stages of the P&K Ladies matchplay Championship which takes place this weekend at Crieff. Hannah will face Nicola Robertson (Dunblane) and our best wishes go to Hannah for a successful weekend.

JUNIOR BELL TROPHY

Today at Strathmore we saw the home leg of the Junior Bell Trophy against Pitlochry. Team Captain Michael Brodie lead from the front and secured a 2&1 victory, second out was Brad Bannerman and despite being one under his handicap lost out to an on form player, third to tee off was Alex Simpson who never lost his nerve and came from being 2 down to win his match 2&1, next to take to the tee was Kirsty Brodie who closed out her match 3&2 and Callum Ewan who was 3 down after 4 battled back to one down however eventually lost 3&2. Strathmore had a 3-2 win and look forward to the away match which will be held Saturday 4th June.

Well done to all who took part.

LEITFIE MEDAL RESULT SUNDAY 8TH MAY

Despite heavy rain in the early morning 3 hardy souls were desperate to test their skills against the course . Cormac Sharpe won the Medal with a nett 61 . Well done to Cormac , Benjamin Fischer and Fergus Walker.

MICHAEL BRODIE SECURES HIS 1st EAGLE

Whilst competing in Saturdays 4th round of the 72 Hole Strokeplay Michael pitched in for an Eagle 3 on the 5th . Well done - the first of many to come .
