Another good day on the course

Today I was joined by Brad Bannerman, Michael Brodie and Alex Simpson to play a 4 ball better ball. The match went to the 18th with Brad and Michael winning it with a par which we couldn't match. Our betterball score was 67 so the scoring was excellent.

I also met a new member , Megan Thom , who is looking forward to joining us at the Club. Our 1st event is a Fun Texas Scramble on Leitfie on Saturday 10th of March and I look forward to seeing you all there

The Futures Bright

With 16 full greens on Michael Brodie, Alex Simpson and myself played the points game. After 3 holes Michael had 9 points Alex 6 and I had 3! but Michael had birdied the 2nd and Alex the 3rd ! a hard school or what? Our better ball front nine was 32 and our back nine was 34. 66 with 7 x 3's and a 2. Michael's individual score was only 2 over par - taking into account the 2 club wind and the blizzard on the last hole the standard of golf played by these 2 juniors was amazing. Scholarships paying off big time.
