2015 COUNTY EVENTS

Scratch League change of rules for 2015
Junior Scratch League Rules 2015
1…There will be two seven team leagues, one known as Red and one known as Blue.
2…The winners and runners up of each league qualify for the semi-finals which will be played home and away, the final will be played at Blairgowrie.

3...A team shall consist of THREE PLAYING MEMBERS from the club, (not necessarily the player’s home club); there are no limits to the size of pools. Clubs may enter more than one team; players are not permitted to play for both club teams unless there are exceptional circumstances and agreed in advance with Perth and Kinross County Executive.

4...A player may only play for ONE CLUB in any one season.

5...All matches will be played over 18 holes of match play, three singles games, and played on or before the scheduled date.

6...All teams must play their players in strict handicap order, (exact handicaps will apply, not playing handicaps), boys play from the white tees and girls play from the red tees.

7...All matches must be played. No date changes or extensions will be permitted (unless there are exceptional circumstances and agreed in advance with Perth and Kinross County Executive) after the first fixture date; therefore it is the responsibility of each junior convenor to ensure all fixtures are agreed with their counterparts prior to the first fixture date.

8...In the event that a match is not re-arranged, the executive reserve the right to impose a result and the match will be considered to have been played.

9...Scoring System: 2 points for win
                         1 point for draw
In the event of teams having equal points at the end of the season, individual game results (games won and lost over the season) will decide the qualifiers. Should this result in a tie; the executive will arrange a play-off on a neutral course. In the event of a drawn match (semi-final & final only), the game or games finishing all square must play "sudden death"
10...MATCH RESULT SHEETS, SIGNED BY BOTH COMPETING CLUBS, MUST BE RETURNED BY THE HOME TEAM (BY EMAIL OR MOBILE (PHOTO) NO LATER THAN THREE DAYS AFTER EACH MATCH TO:
11…Please note: CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST NOT SEEK OR ACCEPT ADVICE FROM PARENTS, OTHER COMPETITORS OR ANY OTHER PERSON.  NB.  "Advice" is any counsel or suggestion that could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke.
12…Any disputes must be addressed to the Junior County Executive through the Area Secretary, they will be considered by a panel consisting of, Area President, Vice President, Junior Scratch League Organiser and the Area Secretary. The decision of the panel is FINAL.

13… No junior shall be allowed to participate in the consumption of alcohol at any time.
