Junior Report 2017



Prize Winners 2017

Congratulations to Alex Simpson on completion of his Captaincy. Kirsty Brodie is now the new Junior Captain with Megan Ashley accepting the role of Junior Vice Captain.
Alex congratulated Iain Butchart on his commitment and dedication to the Junior Section with a great speech and gift for all his continued hard work with the Juniors.




Megan, Kirsten, Amy, and Kirsty received vouchers, range golf balls, and some even got complimentary membership for their development in golf.

Alex’s team won the Short Game Challenges.


Spot prizes were won for nearest to the pin by Amy on the 1st, Alex on the 5th, and Kirsty on the 9th.




And overall, the Captains Team took back Phil’s Putter from the Vice Captain in the Captain vs Vice Captain Competition!

MORE EQUIPEMENT DONATED AND MORE ON WAY FOR HIRE SCHEME

Gareth Couzens has donated a full set of left handed clubs, bag and 3 trolleys. David Ramsay past  P&K County Secretary contacted me to say his brother had a full set of junior clubs looking for a home and today a Mrs Martin from Forfar donated a full set of Callaway Big Bertha's, another 2 sets of irons, various woods, utility clubs, putter and 2 bags. Huge thanks to everyone.

US COLLEGE PLACE CONFIRMED

A very excited Kirsty Brodie today signed her College of Charleston acceptance and will be off to South Carolina on a Golf Scholarship next September. I couldn’t be more happy for Kirsty and wish her all the best for the future.
