Didn't we do well!! Four junior boys Matthew Bell, Allan Easton, Grant Martin and Rory Tinker took part in the Perth and Kinross Junior Boys Spring Meeting and had fantastic results. Rory Tinker played exceptional golf and returned a 4 under handicap nett 61! Out of 42 players, Rory finished in 2nd place. Absolutely brilliant. Well done Rory yet another snip to your handicap! The CSS was 65. Our three other boys Matthew Bell, Allan Easton and Grant Martin also did us proud. Allan returned an excellent scratch score of 75 to be placed 6th in the under 16 section, Grant returned a 77 to be placed 8th in the same section and 9th overall in the handicap section. Matthew Bell returned a 79 scratch and was placed 24th overall in the handicap section.

Our girls also did themselves proud at the Inter-County match against Fife which was played at Balburnie Golf Club on Sunday. Megan and Emily Aird were two of four girls who took part in the junior section of the match. Megan and Emily played a greensome match and after some fantastic golf, was very narrowly beaten with the final putt on the 18th to a grandstand of spectators. Well done Girls. Overall Perth and Kinross halved the match 3 - 3.
