Yesterday Alex showed how good a putter he has become - also beating me 2 & 1. I knew I was up against it on the 2nd when he holed from 10ft and I missed from 4ft, a 25ft on the 5th, a 5ft on the 6th, a 7ft on the 7th, a 6ft on the 12th and a superb 15ft putt on the 15th for a half when I thought I was back in the match proved to me that Alex has mastered the short stick - very confident putting display - 8 single putts !!! - Donkey works. Won't be long until Alex becomes a single figure handicapper - target end of June.
Spoke with Gareth and the Juniors attending the Scottish Development coaching sessions and all are enjoying the experience and making the most of it. Looking forward to seeing the results when the season starts.
