Amy Mitchell playing off a handicap of 18 should be very happy with her 2 rounds which included 5 pars and 8 bogeys in day 1 and 6 pars and 9 bogeys in day 2. Spoke with her and she loved the experience and as this was her first national Championship she can't wait to compete at this level again.
Kirsty Brodie finished tied 6th and top Scot and will be delighted after putting 2 good rounds together and her confidence will be sky high going into the final events of the season.
I am so proud of all 3 players - top Scottish Boy and Girl and Amy for not letting 1 bad hole effect her and finishing her last 6 holes in 2 over par. With Michael Brodie also winning the Gent's County stroke play Championship what a couple of days for Strathmore juniors.

Hello Iain, I think what all the Strathmore juniors do is fantastic and the results over the last few days have been simply remarkable. It is testament to how talented they are, how hard they work on their game, how your time and support is helping them all.
