Rory Tinker made an impressive start to his professional career with a 4th place finish at Balbirnie with a 2 under par 69. I came in with a 72 finishing =13th scratch and =4th nett. Both of us should be in the money and we both qualified for the Championship to be held at Lundin Links.

The Midland Golfers' Alliance held this week's meeting at Balbirnie Park in Fife. Mike McKenzie AP, Edzell won his first Alliance of the year with a 5 under par score of 66.
