Kirsty Brodie and Hannah Darling top Scots in Irish girls' open stroke play as Swede Arwefjall leads with a 69
The Irish Girls’ Open Stroke Play Championship began at Roganstown Golf and Country Club today. The Championship, played over 54 holes, will see a field of 113 international players compete for the title which was first won by Leona Maguire (Slieve Russell) in 2012.
Best after round one is Kajsa Arwefjall (Sweden), who carded 4 birdies on her way to a 2 under par 69. One shot further back sits a group on 1 under par, while Nicole Joyce-Moreno (Ireland) finished level par for her round.
