A HUGE THANK YOU TO JACK GILLISON

For many years Jack was a member of Strathmore and during his time has collected and donated 1000's of golf balls into the Juniors box in the office keeping them supplied without always having to buy balls. Due to a health problem he had to give up his membership but has continued to come down for a walk and search for balls and that is why the box is always full. Last night he popped into see me with another gift to our Hire Scheme - an Electric Trolley complete with bag, charger and two 18 hole batteries. Normally we hire push trollies for £5 per annum but for the Electric one we are going to ask for £10 pa. We have decided that as a few of you may be interested we will hold a draw on Saturday 1st April after the main Club Captains Drive In and ask one of the Captains to pull out the name of the lucky hirer.
