Plenty of positives from the weekend - Winter Series Final at Strathtyrum
Alex shot 75 finished 17th and was level par to the turn including 2 birdies
Kirsty shot 73 finished 6th and had a level par back 9 including 2 birdies she also had the longest drive
Amy shot 76 finished tied 11th and had 3 birdies and also managed to drive through the back of a par 4
All 3 are looking forward to the new season and have plenty of competitive Golf to look forward to.
As Junior Convenor I believe you should lead by example, so on Sunday to inspire our Juniors this year I won the Gents Leitfie Links Scratch Championship for the 13th time this time by 5 shots 1999/2000/01/02/05/06/07/08/10/12/13/14 and now 2017. Having been a member since 1995 and in the first year only the 9 hole course being open and subsequently having played 1000's of rounds with our Juniors I might have an advantage but you still have to go out and play the shots. I've now done my part and can't wait to see how inspired our Juniors are and their first win is just round the corner.
