A total of 50 Development Centres will be launched over the next 3 years. 20 will be named for 2012 and the chosen centres will be open for business by November.
The Development Centres will be a National Programme run throughout Scotland to provide every young golfer the opportunity to reach their personal golfing
potential.
The Centres will be a joint SGU/SLGA initiative supported by Clubgolf. They are open to any player with a handicap that are not already involved at Academy level.
The cost per player is £150 this will provide each player with 30 hours of coaching with additional non-technical coaching (fitness, nutrition, psychology etc)
