FANTASTIC REWARD FOR TAKING THE CHALLANGE

Only January and so much happening. Really excited to see what 2014 brings - with the nights starting to stretch I feel the Leitfie challenge looming and with my last round being a 59 can't wait to see who is first to step up to give it a go !!!  Alex Simpson was the only one to take up the challenge so when a competition offering 15 of the worlds young golfing prospects and their mentors the chance to attend Allianz's Golf Camp at St Andrews arrived and with his parents consent we entered.
I received a phone call this week confirming we had won with details of the prize. We will be staying 4 nights full board at the Fairmont St Andrews 5 star resort hotel and over the 5 days the highlights will include a meet and greet with LPGA and LET Tours player Beatriz Recari and 2014 European Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley, training with the best coaches at St Andrews Links Golf Academy, several rounds on the legendary links, intercultural exchange and above all lots of fun and maybe the chance to be one of Paul's wild card picks for Gleneagles !!!  Amazing and so exciting and only 28 more sleeps to go.
