Alexei Butchart played in the
Agalarov Open 21/9/14 and won first prize in the junior section for his score
of 86. He bought a driver in the same series as his other clubs just before he
left Scotland in the summer and this has been a massive boost to his game on the
longer courses. He is hitting it 220-230 yards. The big trophy in his left hand is for the overall championship for the
juniors - the glass trophy is for the longest drive - the organisers set up a
longest drive competition for the juniors on the 7th hole.
It looks like Alexei is getting closer to some really good scores - just a pity for him that the courses all close next week.
