Unfortunately Alex Simpson lost on the 18th but said "I played really well but my opponent was so consistant. I couldn't have done much better and made no major mistakes, so I'm really happy" He will take a lot of positives from his performance and having just turned 14 will have another 4 years to make his mark at the Scottish boys. Next up at 8.57am tomorrow is Michael Brodie who I know will be looking forward to his second round match. Alex is going to spectate and send me an on course update of how he is doing.
