Tonight Strathmore created another new record by fielding the first all girl Junior Scratch League team. Unfortunately the result was not good but our girls should be pleased with their own performances against a very strong Blairgowrie side. Megan lost 3&2 to Gregor who was 2 under through 16, Amy lost to Katy by a similar margin and Kirsten should be delighted to take Conor (the short game master) to the 18th hole before losing 1 down. Next up we host Muckhart on Monday.
Tonight Ryan and Ewan upgraded their Hire Clubs to new sets and it looks like we could have yet another new member as Adrian’s wee sister was out having a practice and from the shot I seen her play looks like she has a decent swing.
Looks like another 3 records are about to go as well with 2 more youngsters and a parent about to join and these 2 along with another existing Junior looking to join our Club Hire Scheme this season just gets better.
