REMIND ME WHAT I POSTED YESTERDAY ??????

I remember, our juniors had more to come. And what a day. I caddied for Michael Brodie in the gents final and he got off to the perfect start with a superb second shot to the heart of the green and 2 putts later 1 up. 2 up after 3.  Lost 5 and 12 and with a brilliant birdie putt on 18 lunch tasted so much better with a 1 up lead. Lost 1st and 4th to go 1 down but responded by winning 5,6 and 7 to go 2 up. Drove into the trees above the bunker on 8, chapped out, landed off the back of the green and holed a superb chip with a 9 iron for a 4. After finding the trees on the right on 9th was unlucky to find the bunker but played out ok and chipped in again with the a 9 iron to turn 3 up. Lost 10 to birdie but hit back by winning 11 & 12 and hit 13 with an 8 iron off the back tees and holed the putt to go dormie. A concede on the 14th green makes Michael the 2nd junior to be Club Champion and so well deserved.
Kirsty Brodie took an early lead in her final and held her form throughout to retain her Ladies Championship, Dawn said Kirsty's putting on the first 18 was superb and her driving was immense and that she deserved her win.
Alex Simpson won the scratch junior final 2&1 and Marcus Ryan won the handicap final on the 20th hole.

What an amazing day, 2 juniors winning both the gents and ladies finals. Another first and  I must admit I had a tear in my eye when the presentation was taking place. I have watched these youngsters progress so much and it was brilliant to have Allan Easton come along to watch and support the finalists. I have said so often that playing Allan in the gents final is what inspired me to become involved with junior golf and he was very complementary of the players watching all the finals to a finish.

Tomorrow we head to Crieff needing to win and our team contains 4 champions and a great runner up, with the confidences high I believe we can get the result.
