Scottish girls travel to Ireland for the Irish Under 18 Strokeplay Championship
A group of 10 SLGA supported players will travel to Ireland to compete in the Irish Under 18 Strokeplay Championship at Roganstown hotel & country club this weekend.
The tournament follows some good peformances from Scottish players in the SLGA Under 16 Strokeplay Championship at Strathmore last week. Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne) was runner up to England's Hollie Muse, with Hazel MacGarvie in fourth place and Mirren Fraser (Powfoot) in fifth place. The three players were in Scotland team 1 which missed out on the team trophy by just one shot to England. All of the Scottish players will be looking to build on their good early season form in a strong field.
