ANOTHER JUNIOR READY TO UPGRADE TO THE BIG COURSE

Invited Fergus Barron out to assess his progress after his record breaking exploits on Leitfie. After a nervous tee shot (first of the whites) he settled down and was 57 to the turn with only 20 putts. I was very impressed with his general play but more so by his putting. Distance control was excellent. Tonight's card would have been good enough for a handicap of 44. Congratulations Fergus I believe you have great potential and if you put in the effort and commitment I think you could have a very bright future in the sport.
