SUCCESS FOR KIRSTY'S

Kirsty Barron completed her 3rd card for handicap and has gained a fun handicap of 52 on Leitfie, well done after double Chemistry, double Biology and double Maths followed by practising with the Dundee Schools choir - 9 holes on Leitfie was a piece of cake. With determination and practice I'm sure not only will you become a great golfer but will also make a great doctor.

Kirsty Brodie tonight qualified for the knockout stages of Perth and Kinross Ladies Championship and tees up on Saturday in the last 16. Being reigning Strathmore ladies club champion with home course advantage combined with Strathmore's will to win will give Kirsty an edge and our best wishes go with her. Remember it's match play and anything can happen, you only have to be better than your opponent on more holes than they are better than you, so if you have a bad hole, write it off as a lost hole, move on forget it and win the next hole.
